On Friday August 21st in San Francisco, OrigAudio hosted their official launch party at Cafe du Nord. Over 250 people packed the house for live performances from Lady Danvile, Diego’s Umbrella, Cannon’s & Clouds, and Peter Goetz. It was a spectacular event to introduce the OrigAudio speakers to the world and for the chance to rock out with some of California’s hottest up and coming musicians. Peter Goetz kicked off the night with a stellar performance to represent his roots of Venice beach. After Goetz, OrigAudio’s own battle of the bands participant- Lady Danville (http://www.myspace.com/ladydanville) came out to a standing ovation of their fans to play for the first time in the bay area in over 2 years. After playing earlier in the day at Twitter’s headquarter’s, L.D. played some of their classics such as Sophie Roux, Tired Magician, and the newly popular Uke Song. Come back in a couple of weeks to see the exclusive Lady Danville interview here at Origaudio.com After Lady Danville, Cannon’s & Clouds (http://www.myspace.com/cannonsandclouds) wowed the crowd with their unique style and played one of their hits “Where reality has me” Lastly, Diego’s Umbrella (http://www.myspace.com/diegosumbrella) put on a stellar performance and had the whole crowd dancing to their famous flamenco/ska blend of music.
